Eggs – no not Easter eggs, mosquito and tick eggs. That is what the early warm weather is bringing with it.
The normal tick season is from May through August, but with the warmer temperatures in some areas, the ticks may get a jump on the season. Eggs are already on the ground, but due to the temperatures they will be hatching earlier. That means we will have more adults earlier in the season, which gives them additional time to breed and lay more eggs.
At Mosquito Squad our Barrier Treatment kills adult mosquitoes AND ticks! We also have Tick Tubes which are an additional tool to to protect your family. Strategically placed tubes prompt field mice to incorporate tick-killing material in their bedding, effectively eliminating hundreds of nymphs in each mouse nest.
Taking preventive measures is your best course of action.
