When you are a part of a family-owned business, you are more than just a number — you are treated like a person who is valued and appreciated. Take for example our hands on approach to training our customer service techs, and it pays off in more ways than one. You have to pass a pretty intensive test to become a professional technician. Would you expect to be paid to study? Here at Mosquito Squad of the North Shore Mosquito and Tick Control, you will earn a salary while you are in training, for two reasons. There is a lot to learn, to become an expert. For Mosquito Squad, it starts with learning everything possible about “the enemies,” Take for instance today and the month of May. What are some key things to be aware of? Well, for us, it would be that the month of May is Lyme Disease awareness month; that Lyme Disease is spread by infected deer ticks (Ixodes Scapularis), and that now is the time to be strategically layout out our specially formulated tick tubes. These ingenious products stop thousands and thousands of young ticks from ever leaving the mouse/rodent hole. Then we have to learn about all the products and how they work, so that we can answer any questions or concerns you may have. We also cover, in depth safety, and all of the applicable Massachusetts laws and regulations. We don’t just throw you a book and send you off in a corner to be self taught. No, we offer one-on-one training, and will pay you as you are learning…not just for two or three days, but for several weeks. And once you pass your test? Congratulations! You just earned your first pay raise! It’s true!
All of us take great pride in representing the face of our company, whether we are on or off duty. Ask us for one of our business cards, and you will see for yourself! Our family values extend to our customers as well. No one else earns consistently top reviews from our clients, like we do.
