Welcome back! Welcome back to…Spring, warmer weather, baseball, Mosquito Squad, flowers, our blog, and of course the rest of nature that is returning this time of year. Have you noticed all the typical seasonal pests are back in full swing as if it was already summer time? You are not alone. Last year during the early part of spring mosquitoes and ticks were few and far between. This year is quite a different story because of the lack of deep freezing weather. Since there is such an increase in activity and so many articles in the news about the increase in early pest appearances, more and more people are saying welcome back to Mosquito Squad, along with all the other seasonal changes. Since we are going into our 3rd season with the Mosquito Squad of Mount Laurel and there are 5 new franchises scattered throughout northern New Jersey, when people in the New Jersey area start noticing the spring changes they also start looking for the number for their local Mosquito Squad too.

Unfortunately, the pest population seems to be increasing regularly, and the dangers these particular pests represent also seem to be increasing regularly. So, are we to also “Welcome Back” the bugs? Not at my house, that is why we include the Mosquito Squad in our spring plans. Yes, I do operate the franchise located in Mount Laurel, NJ. However, this is not the reason my family looks forward to Mosquito Squad. For the family that just means that I am away from home more, which while necessary, is far from something to look forward to. Our family enjoying the outdoors at home and at our friends and family’s homes is truly enhanced by knowing that we don’t have to worry about misting ourselves down with over the counter bug sprays, and we don’t have to stop enjoying the outdoors once the sun goes down. We also have a sense of pride knowing that we have significantly decreased the likelihood of someone in our family contracting one of the many horrible diseases that are carried by ticks, and mosquitoes. These things are the exact reason we love being able to provide the Mosquito Squad service. It is truly a special feeling when you know what you do for a living makes an impact for the people you service.

I know that people make impacts in all kinds of different ways, and in all types of different careers. I know that when I was in other career fields I felt like I was making an impact. Whether it was providing a quality dining experience when I was in the restaurant business, or helping someone close on a home when I was involved in the mortgage industry, and even in fact when I was providing families with clean homes while being a residential housecleaner. I took pride in all of those things feeling like I was making a small impact most of the time, and occasionally a larger impact when the opportunity to go above and beyond presented itself in each of those industries. The feelings that are conveyed to me by the Mosquito Squad of Mount Laurel family of customers truly goes beyond anything I have been involved with in any business.

When I go out into the community and the customers see me, they always say hello, and tell me what a great job we do, or give some kind of positive feedback about what it has allowed them to do in their yard or with their family. It is a tremendous feeling of accomplishment when parents tell you they are so happy to have your service because their children can play in the yard without being attacked by bugs, and without being misted down before being able to play outside. We recently attended the South Jersey Home Show in Voorhees as well as the Marlton Business Expo, and without fail at both events we had customers at our booth to say hello and look into this year’s service. That is not the thing that struck me as unique, since that happens with many businesses, what did strike me as unique was how impressive our customers are as sales people. At both events our Mosquito Squad family members were talking to complete strangers telling them how much they loved and valued our service. So much so that most of the people they spoke with have become customers themselves!

George Softly Director of Sales and Operations Mosquito Squad of Mount LaurelHaving those experiences is what really makes you smile inside when you’re in business. Knowing that our customers feel that way about our service gives me such a sense of pride when talking about the business that it is almost impossible to describe. As this post comes to an end, I want to say “Welcome Back!” to our followers, fellow bloggers, customers, potential customers, and anyone else visiting our blog whether it’s for the 1sttime or the 101st time. We welcome you all!
