Heartworm
Posted by Mosquito SquadDecember 19, 2023
This fatal disease is kicked into gear during the spring and summer seasons. Heart worm is transmitted from an infected mosquito. It can reach up to 2 feet long when it reaches the heart of your animal. Because of the worm, your pet’s heart has to work harder and pump faster to produce the same amount of blood. Due to the excessive pumping of the heart, your pet will become very fatigued and begin to develop a frequent cough due to liquid accumulating in the lungs.
Mosquito Squad of Grand Rapids wants to make sure your pets stay safe and want to mist your yard to rid of those disease infested mosquitoes.
