It’s important to remember that in addition to protecting ourselves against the dangers of mosquitoes, we should also be protecting our families and pets from ticks and fleas.

Tick Control

You don’t have to be walking in the woods to be bitten by a tick! Ticks harbor in brush and woodpiles, tall grass, and under decks in our back yards. Lyme Disease isn’t the only vector-borne disease carried by ticks. Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Ehrlichiosis are among several tick-borne illnesses common in New Jersey.

The Granular Tick treatment will control ticks (and ants!) in landscaped areas to keep the tick population down. It is recommended to repeat applications in the spring and fall for maximum protection.

They are considered vectors as well and are known to spread diseases and parasites such as tapeworm.
