Posted by Mosquito Squad

October 20, 2018

Tick season is in full swing here in Massachusetts and there's a new addition to the usual roster of insects: the Asian, or longhorned, tick.  This arthropod is making livestock in Asia sick, and now it's made its way overseas to New York. How do you protect yourself and your property from the Asian tick? Take precautions that you normally take to avoid bites from the blacklegged ticks, including Cape Cod Mosquito Squad's traditional barrier protection.
