2018 Most-Searched Household Pest in Massachusetts Was Flies

According to a recent study by Organic Lesson, the most-searched household pest in Massachusetts in 2018 was flies. Three insects—ants, flies, and mosquitoes—were identified in the study as the top-searched pests across forty-one states.
The study looked at Google's search interest data for many household pests and rodents, including fleas, flies, mosquitoes, and ants, specifically focusing on searches that demonstrated a DIY intention, such as “how to get rid of fruit flies” and “mosquito traps.”
